About The Position
Join UL’s industry-leading wireless testing labs for a hands-on experience in a dynamic, fast-paced, and customer-focused environment. You’ll work alongside experts in Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) , Radio Frequency (RF) , or Millimeter Wave (mmWave) testing, contributing to the evaluation of cutting-edge wireless devices. UL Solutions labs are known for their innovative equipment design and rigorous quality standards. This is a great opportunity to gain real-world experience in wireless technology testing while collaborating with a passionate team. Seasonal Shifts & Schedules RF Testing (Jan-August) Hands-on testing using state-of-the-art RF equipment across various technologies. Total Rewards: The hourly rate for this position is $25/hr. Members of the night shift benefit from an 8% shift differential in hourly pay, which also compounds with overtime.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old at time of application.
- Indefinite right to work in the U.S.
- No prior experience required—comprehensive training provided.
- Must be able to work onsite in Fremont, CA (relocation not provided).
- Must have reliable transportation to and from Fremont office
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor wireless device tests using lab equipment.
- Record and interpret test results; assist in report preparation.
- Follow defined test plans and procedures.
- Communicate with engineering teams and customers during testing.
- Learn and apply technical skills in a collaborative lab setting.
