About The Position

The Wireless Technician role at AT&T involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of wireless transmission equipment. Requirements

Responsibilities

• Wear appropriate safety equipment and follow established safety practices and procedures.
• Use sophisticated electronic test equipment, measuring devices, meters, and hand tools to analyze, adjust, install, wire, repair, maintain, and test wireless and transmission equipment.
• Perform incidental and preventative maintenance on cell sites, power equipment, and transmission equipment, completing necessary logs and reports.
• Operate a personal computer or similar devices to access required systems and equipment.
• Coordinate trouble clearing with other groups and organizations, working with employees and customers in the maintenance and installation of wireless service.
• Move and/or lift materials weighing up to 60 pounds and drive long distances safely to complete job assignments.
• Work independently with minimal guidance or assistance.
• Provide instruction, assistance, and guidance to other technicians as required.
• Perform network surveillance and emergency response as necessary, being available for after-hours projects, on-call duty, and overtime.
• Drive a company vehicle.
