As a member of our multi-faceted group, you will have the rare and extraordinary opportunity to craft upcoming products that will delight and encourage millions of Apple's customers every single day.In this technical role, you will be part of a silicon design group responsible for system integration, design of radio calibration algorithms, chip bringup, and characterization of state-of-the-art wireless SoC products from conception to production. We are looking for an exceptional engineer with experience in designing novel calibration algorithms for wireless systems.
Requirements
- Good understanding of communication theory and signal processing algorithms (such as timing recovery, signal estimation and detection, automatic gain control, RF impairment estimation and correction, coexistence).
- Knowledge of wireless communication protocols like IEEE 802.11 standards or LTE.
- Experience designing algorithms for calibration, pre-equalization or digital pre-distortion techniques.
- Hands-on experience using wireless test lab equipment (spectrum analyzer, signal generator, network analyzer, power meter).
- Excellent analytical and debug skills.
- Experience building test automation and verification flow development with scripting languages such as Python.
