Requirements

  • Requires Master's degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field and 36 months of experience in job offered or computer-related occupation
  • Requires 36 months of experience involving the following: Wireless communications systems and standards, such as Cellular, Wi-Fi, BT, BLE, and UWB
  • Analyzing logs and troubleshooting issues from field, customers, and lab on technologies such as Wi-FiBluetoothBluetooth Low Energy, 5G, and LTE, and System performanceanalysis, problem-solving, and debugging
  • IEEE 802.11 ax, 802.11 bgn, and 802.11 ac protocols
  • Working on Hotspot [SAP], WIFI Direct, NAN, Offloads, WFCVoWIFI, TWT, A2DP, BT LE, and Competitive benchmarking
  • Programming in C, C#, and Python
  • Industry standard tools, including Crash Scope, QXDM, QPST, PCAT, Omnipeek, Wireshark, Visual Studio, GitHub, Anaconda, and iperf and Equipment, including Keysight 5G UXM Call box, Access PointsRouters, IQEXL , Kratos, Network Analyzer, Attenuators, RF Shield box, and OTA Sniffers

Responsibilities

  • Analyze wireless subsystem requirements (including but not limited to RF, PHY, MAC, Protocol, and application-level performance) based on product requirements and use cases.
  • Design and specify the wireless system architecture, algorithm, protocol, and procedure fitting the future VRAR use cases with stringent functional, quality, performance, footprint, and power requirements.
  • Set system performance KPIs for wireless subsystems and drive the wireless architecture (HWSW) with other cross-functional teams achieving product performance optimization.
  • Interface and collaborate with wireless chip set vendors to ensure system requirements, such as RFbaseband performance, system control architecture, HWSW interface architectures and longer-term technology roadmaps.
  • Research new technologies and analyze competition technologies, design new algorithmsprotocols and specify solution options to solve complicated problems for future ARVR products.
  • Analyze system performance issues and chipsetFWSW defects and improve broad system level performance during product cycle.
  • IP development and closely monitor global standard progress.
  • Define and execute the strategy in standardization, and industry ecosystem development.
  • Conduct protocol performance analysis and wireless solutions evaluation for ARVR products.
  • Define requirements, identify technical gaps, and create novel solutions for existing and future products.
  • Define and execute validation strategy focusing on protocol, performance, and power areas of the products.
  • Enable test equipment and automation framework for validation of test plans, generation of KPIs of interest and stability metrics.
  • Work on SOC Power modelling, current profiles, and WLANBTModem technology.
  • Define power goals, create and execute test plans, optimize platform power, SW regression check, and support customers with product commercialization.
