APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Design and validate hardware for Telecommunication Systems. Assess platform-level performance across cellular technologies in the areas of industry conformance, regulatory compliance, carrier and use case requirements. Define test requirements, including designing, implementing in-house test systems and executing validation test cases. Perform failure analysis and make use of experimental SW/FW and mock-up hardware. Collaborate with test equipment vendors, technology suppliers and staff to optimize RF parametric performance. Track validation status, analyze results and communicate issues and insights from data. Perform bench-level wireless testing and debug module, reference board of system level. International Travel Required 5%. 40 hours/week.
