This role is central to driving end-to-end performance and seamless integration of advanced Physical Layer (PHY) wireless communication algorithms within Apple's custom silicon. You will be the crucial link that translates sophisticated algorithmic concepts into highly optimized, real-world system functionality. Your primary focus will be on the complete lifecycle of our wireless algorithms from design, implementation, integration, and deployment to the final product.

Requirements

• MSEE or PhD degrees.
• Experience designing firmware-based algorithms involving MAC-PHY interactions and SW based PHY configurations.
• Implement codes in Python and in firmware.
• Experience with pre-silicon validation using emulation and FPGA prototyping tools and methodologies.
• Experience in designing test plans and working with automation/test engineers to implement the same.
• Collect and analyze test results, identify and debug issues.
• Proficiency in utilizing wireless test lab equipment (e.g., spectrum analyzers, signal generators, network analyzers, power meters) for system characterization, debugging, and root cause analysis of complex communication issues.
• Strong understanding of measurement principles and their practical application.
