Job Description: Job Description Set and maintain quality standards for company products through the use of systematic processes. Develops, modifies, and executes software test strategies, plans and suites. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software. Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action. Develops tools and environments to automate test execution. Consults with development engineers in resolution of problems. Management Level Definition: Contributions impact technical components of HPE products, solutions, or services regularly and sustainable. Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Provides expertise and partnership to functional and technical project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. Exercises significant independent judgment to determine best method for achieving objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• 0-2 years’ experience.
• Basic knowledge of 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be protocol standards.
• Hands-on experience with wireless access point validation.
• Basic understanding of routing and switching concepts (VLAN, DHCP, DNS, NAT).
• Strong problem-solving skills in fast-paced, technical environments.
• Scripting experience in Python.

Nice To Haves

• CWNA, CWSP, or CWAP certification.
• Experience with ISE or ClearPass.
• Basic knowledge of L2TPv3/IPsec protocols.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain system testbeds using Access Points, networking devices, and servers.
• Perform QA validation of 802.11 wireless standards and proprietary features.
• Conduct end-to-end validation of client-to-cloud architecture.
• Recreate customer-reported issues in lab environments and collaborate with global engineering teams to drive resolution.
• Execute performance testing using tools like iPerf, ixChariot, etc.
• Partner with the Customer Support (CS) team to review defect reports and enhance test coverage.
• Log and track bugs in Jira, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
• Escalate critical issues promptly to relevant stakeholders.
• Create and maintain technical documentation in Confluence for CS and QA teams.
• Mentor and train Level 1/2 Engineers on emerging wireless technologies
