The Wireless Network Engineer is responsible for the deployment, configuration, support, and optimization of wireless network infrastructure across the organization. This role focuses on maintaining reliable, secure, and high-performance wireless connectivity for users, devices, and systems in campus, branch, and remote environments. Key responsibilities include implementing and supporting wireless LAN (WLAN) solutions using platforms such as Cisco Meraki, configuring access points and wireless controllers, and ensuring seamless integration with enterprise wired networks and security frameworks. The Wireless Network Engineer works closely with senior network engineers, system administrators, and security teams to support wireless projects, resolve connectivity issues, and uphold wireless performance standards. This position involves regular monitoring of wireless environments, troubleshooting interference or signal-related issues, and assisting with wireless surveys, coverage planning, and firmware updates.
