About The Position
The position of Wire Transfer Team Lead (Team Lead) is responsible for supporting the Wire Transfer Department Manager with the day-to-day operation of the Wire Transfer Department. The Team Lead is responsible for providing work direction to a team of Wire Transfer Specialists and Senior Specialists. The Team Lead will coordinate and may assign work to ensure smooth operation within the department and to ensure daily deadlines and SLAs are met. The Team Lead will provide guidance to the Specialists to resolve problems and issues, as well as assist with handling escalated customer issues. The Team Lead will also perform Wire Transfer Specialist duties, conduct wire investigations, assist with procedure development/maintenance, oversee department opening and closing operations, make decisions on accepting work near or after the cutoff, and escalate personnel issues to the Wire Transfer Manager.
