About The Position

Hanger Bolt & Stud Co. is a manufacturer of roll-formed headless steel fasteners and steel wire for a variety of industries. We have been in business since 1967. We are currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented individual to join our Wire Drawing Department as a Shipping & Receiving Associate . This position involves assisting the Wire Production Manager with incoming and outgoing shipments. Also, receiving in-house inventory into the system. Basic computer knowledge is a must. This position is Mon – Thurs 6AM – 4PM and Friday 6:00AM – 11:30AM.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Proficiency with inventory/warehouse management systems
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Reliable attendance
Entry level knowledge of Excel
Forklift experience

Responsibilities

Receiving incoming rod deliveries, verifying purchase orders, and process into the inventory system
Keeping basic Excel spreadsheets up to date
Assist in loading and unloading steel rod and wire from flatbed truck with forklift
Log finished wire into the computer system as production staff completes coils
Coordinate with production team to ensure smooth handoff of completed items
Prepare finished wire loads for customer shipment
Verify orders against packing lists and shipping documentation
Maintain a clean, organized work area
Report discrepancies or system errors immediately
Follow all safety and quality protocols
