Scott Electric Company has a current opening at our Greensburg , PA branch for a Full-Time Wire Room Associate (Mon-Fri 7:30 am -4:00 pm + OT).

Requirements

• Regularly lift 50 lbs
• Must be able to measure and run a wire cutting machine
• Prior experience in inventory control, forklift operation, and general warehousing is beneficial
• Electrical experience preferred
• Must have good communication skills
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must submit a background check and drug testing

Responsibilities

• Interpret customer orders and select appropriate wire and required quantity accurately
• Cut, trim, and spool the required length of wire for distribution
• Packaged, labeled, and shipped all wire products to specified locations
• Checked wire products to verify conformance to customer specifications
• Operate all appropriate machines and perform preventive maintenance of the equipment
• Received, stocked, and maintained warehouse materials and inventory of supplies
