About The Position

The Wire Harness Assembly Technician will support prototype and low-volume production of wire harnesses used in battery packs, modules, vehicles, and test equipment. This role focuses on precision assembly, routing, testing, and documentation of electrical harnesses while working closely with engineering and prototype build teams.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; technical certificate preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in wire harness or electrical assembly.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation discipline.
  • Experienced with crimping, soldering, and connector assembly.
  • Ability to work independently and in fast-paced environments.
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
  • Manual dexterity for small tools and electrical components.
  • Mobility across lab and assembly areas.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Build wire harnesses and cable assemblies from drawings, schematics, and BOMs.
  • Cut, strip, crimp, solder, terminate, and label wiring.
  • Perform inspection, continuity checks, and resistance tests.
  • Document rework and maintain traceability of materials.
  • Support engineers during prototype builds and design iterations.
  • Operate crimp presses, soldering stations, and measurement equipment.
  • Follow ESD, HV, and safety procedures.
