The Wire EDM Machinist has experience of programming with Esprit, running and controlling Wire Electrical Discharge Machine. Responsibilities: Setup, program and operate the wire EDM properly. Fabricate machinery parts and fixtures per given specifications. Produce and deliver high quality punches, dies and tools as requested. Inspect all machined parts and conduct QA activities. Select and utilize a variety of inspection and measurement tools like gauges and micrometers. Clean the wire EDM and perform preventive maintenance on a regular basis. Maintain a clean work area to assure a safe working environment. Monitor and maintain inventory stock of tools and supplies as needed. Experience: High school or technical school diploma, milling experience is a plus, Basic wire and Basic g code. (G54 G00 X0,y,0) an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have all personal tools required to perform routine machining tasks and inspections (calipers, set up blks, wrenches) Hours are 6:50 am to 5:00 pm Monday thru Thursday and overtime if needed is 6:50 to 3:00 pm on Friday and the weekends
