Requirements
- High School or Equivalency Diploma
- Knowledge and use of shop math with mechanical aptitude
- Knowledge of various types of tool steel and principles of metal cutting
- 5 years minimum experience in machining or tool room environment
Responsibilities
- Setup, troubleshoot and operate Agie 100 Wire EDM machine.
- Use Solidworks and MasterCam software in order to facilitate writing programs to wire shapes, dimensions and geometry to Blueprint specs
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and quality specs.
- Performs Preventative Maintenance of Wire EDM equipment by applying work-related documents such as operating manuals, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Will be required to assist toolmakers as necessary
- Maintain records and make data entries into computer systems
- Wear all required PPE at all times
- Maintain acceptable level of housekeeping order and cleanliness in area
