Move freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, ships, or containers, by hand or using trucks, tractors, or other equipment. Sort cargo before loading and unloading. Receive finished goods, inspect for damage, organize and accurately record inventory using production sheets or work tickets. Record numbers of units handled or moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets. Install protective devices, such as bracing, padding, or strapping, to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported. Operate industrial forklift and motorized pallet jacks in warehousing chain link bales according to SKU numbers and material type. Maintain equipment storage areas to ensure that inventory is protected. Pack containers and re-pack damaged containers. Carry needed tools or supplies from storage or trucks and return them after use. Pull and prepare rolled/bundled fence product and load fencing rolls onto a flatbed truck for customers’ orders and shipping. Follow established safety procedures when performing tasks and/or working with equipment. Perform miscellaneous yard/warehouse duties as necessary and as directed by the supervisor. Provide excellent customer service. Must be able to work overtime as required.
