Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and technical drawings
  • Basic math skills and familiarity with measurement tools (calipers, rulers, micrometers)
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience operating wire cutting, cable processing, or similar manufacturing equipment preferred

Responsibilities

  • Machine Operation: Set up and operate wire cutting machines according to job specifications, blueprints, and work instructions.
  • Production Accuracy: Measure and cut wire materials to exact lengths and tolerances using precision tools and equipment.
  • Equipment Setup & Adjustment: Adjust machine settings, tooling, and guides to accommodate different wire sizes and production requirements.
  • Quality Inspection: Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards, specifications, and tolerances; identify and report defects.
  • Material Handling: Load raw materials and manage finished goods using appropriate handling techniques and equipment.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting of wire cutting equipment; report mechanical issues as needed.
  • Documentation: Accurately complete production logs, quality records, and work orders in a timely manner.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all safety procedures, wear required PPE, and ensure a safe working environment at all times.
  • Continuous Improvement: Support process improvements and participate in team initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
