Position Summary Ready to get hands-on and learn from the best? As a Wire & Cable Engineering Intern , you’ll work alongside experienced engineering professionals and cross-functional teams to tackle real-world manufacturing and quality challenges. You’ll be paired with a dedicated mentor, gain exposure to engineering and production processes, and contribute to meaningful projects while helping solve simple to medium-complexity technical issues. This is a great opportunity to build practical skills, ask questions, and see how engineering comes to life on the manufacturing floor. LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES may include, but are not limited to: Apply classroom learning, experience team collaboration, build industry connections, and explore career growth opportunities Hands-on, practical experience in cable, wire harness and electronics manufacturing processes and systems/tools Exposure to a dynamic and fast-paced manufacturing environment Opportunity to work closely and mentor with Creation’s experienced team members in the field Improved exposure and potential readiness for future full-time opportunities with Creation upon completion of degree May participates in the design, development and readiness of manufacturing equipment, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to safety standards May handle routine engineering tasks and escalates issues as necessary, ensuring compliance with quality standards and that products meet customer required specifications and standards. May execute basic engineering tasks, assists in prototype assembly, and performs routine technical work under engineering supervision. Demonstrates a foundational understanding of electronics principles and manufacturing processes, solving rudimentary problems. Reviews and maintains standard operating procedures (SOPs) for compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. Collaborates effectively within the engineering team, communicating technical information clearly and contributing to operational goals. Provides support in maintaining the equipment and tools necessary for the electronic manufacturing processes. Assists in the development and documentation of manufacturing processes and procedures, ensuring accurate records and adherence to company defined protocols. Supports continuous improvement efforts by providing feedback on existing processes and participating in new process development. Aids in the troubleshooting and repair of manufacturing equipment, minimizing downtime, and maintaining production efficiency. Other projects, duties, and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in an accredited electronics or engineering related degreed program
  • Available for a full-time, onsite paid internship role (4 months) in Summer 2025
  • This position provides access to technology regulated by U.S. export controls. Therefore, any job offer will be contingent upon the applicant's ability to comply with these export control regulations.
  • US Citizen or lawful permanent resident or a protected individual under the Immigration and Naturalization Act
  • Computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal), and ability to clearly articulate fact-based opinions/ideas
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Proactive approach to learning, curiosity and openness to asking questions and seeking feedback
  • Efficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, idea presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to safety guidelines.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in organizing concise and accurate technical documentation
  • Interest in future electronics / manufacturing career with Creation a plus
  • Experience in manufacturing methodology a plus
