We are seeking a Team Lead for our Nutek Disposable located in McElhattan. Purpose and role of job: Responsible for overseeing that all team members are assigned and performing their specific job duties in a safe, competent, efficient, and productive manner. Also coordinates with Supervisor, team members, and all support departments to ensure completion of daily tasks and team goals and expectations.

Requirements

Technician II Certification required
Completion of 3 Leadership Training Courses as required by the Pay-for-Skills Program.
Must be able to communicate well with all team members, supervisors, and other Team Leaders.
Must exhibit good leadership ability in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

Observes all safety rules and uses the proper safety equipment at all times.
Actively promotes safety and quality with team members.
Follows necessary GMP, FDA, and ISO regulations/guidelines.
Monitors and maintains quality standards for the product.
Ensures that raw materials are available when needed and removed from the production area when not in use.
Monitors cleanliness in all areas of the plant and directs efforts to maintain excellent housekeeping.
Assists maintenance personnel with troubleshooting as required.
Assists with the training of new operators.
Completes all shift paperwork properly and monitors the completion and accuracy of operator paperwork.
Ensures team members are working competently and productively.
Ensures in a timely manner.
Records appropriate information to enable batch-to-batch traceability.
Follows instructions of the Supervisor.
Promptly communicates with supervisor regarding safety, quality, process, or personnel issues.
Organizes team member assignments prior to start of shift.
Keeps focus on the production floor and personnel throughout the shift
Is available at all times to help team members or direct them to the proper support team.
Assists with minor administrative tasks (i.e. providing input for employee reviews).
Sets an example for others to follow by exhibiting personal actions, habits and mannerisms that represent company standards.
Performs other duties as necessary when directed to do so.
