About The Position
The WIOA Career Advisor is a full-time position funded by the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) that focuses on assisting customers with their employment and training activities. The advisor will conduct eligibility determinations, provide career guidance, and manage cases to help job seekers navigate the workforce system effectively. This role requires staying updated on employment trends and ensuring that businesses receive qualified candidates. The position reports to the JSCC Career Counselor and is supervised by the NCWorks Career Center-Duplin County Manager.
