About The Position

Requirements

• At least six months of full-time or equivalent part-time experience in manual labor related to general construction or maintenance work.

Responsibilities

• Perform snow and ice operations in inclement weather.
• Assist skilled tradesmen such as carpenters, plumbers, and masons with manual labor tasks.
• Install drainage, sewer, and water pipelines, including positioning and sealing pipe sections.
• Dig trenches, refill excavations, and level materials using hand tools.
• Set and repair curbing and patch broken pavement using various paving materials.
• Install, repair, and maintain regulatory and informational signs using hand tools and power tools.
• Plant, transplant, prune, and fertilize trees, flowers, and shrubs; maintain lawns and gardens.
• Load and unload trucks, store supplies, and take periodic inventories of equipment.
• Operate hand-held power tools and motor vehicles in connection with assigned activities.
