About The Position

The Scotch Plains-Fanwood Public Schools is seeking two Assistant Coaches for the Winter Track program for the 2025-2026 school year. The positions are part of the Athletics & Activities department and will be based at Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School. The posting will remain open until the positions are filled.

Requirements

• NJ Instructional Certification.
• Experience as an Assistant Track Coach is preferred.
• Completion of Principles of Coaching Course.
• Current CPR/AED Certificate preferred but must be willing to obtain.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in coaching track and field.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the head coach in planning and conducting track practices and competitions.
• Support student-athletes in their training and development.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during practices and events.
• Help with the organization of track meets and other related events.
