About The Position

Talan Products is seeking an Engineering Co-Op to join our team from January 2026 through August 2026. This is a full-time, on-site position (Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm) designed to give students hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. In this role, you will support product development, process optimization, and Lean manufacturing initiatives. You’ll assist with new product launches, collaborate on continuous improvement projects, and gain exposure to advanced technologies—all while working alongside experienced professionals. Our Co-Op program is structured to promote growth and learning, offering progressive responsibilities as you build skills and confidence. As the term advances, you’ll take on more complex tasks, contribute to strategic projects, and develop a strong foundation for a future career in engineering.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or engineering setting is preferred but not required for entry-level roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle progressively challenging projects and responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
