Winter Service Team Member - Seasonal
About The Position
I. JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for the snow and ice maintenance of Engledow clients' commercial properties. This includes working with a team to complete the necessary tasks. Position includes but is not limited to: Plowing, shoveling, blowing, salting, equipment operating. Engledow Group standardized levels of quality are to be met at each client location. III. Additional Job Overview This position is on-call 24/7 and 100% dependent on snow fall or icing/freezing temperatures Must be able to commit to at least a 75% show up rate The hours are unpredictable and the number of hours provided are also unpredictable and not guaranteed
Requirements
- Must have a strong interest and desire to work with snow, ice and rain
- Requires the ability to communicate well in both written and verbal formats with individuals in various management levels
- Must be service oriented to meet/exceed customers’ needs
- Must have the ability to adapt to change quickly and efficiently
- Must be able to work in a group and independently in an efficient and organized manner
- Must have strong physical endurance as the position is very labor intensive
Responsibilities
- Plow, hand shovel and salt properties at Engledow level of quality
- Understand the needs of each respective client
- Be creative in accomplishing the work quickly, safely and accurately
- Complete all necessary paperwork for payroll
- Communicate with Account Manager regarding issues at properties
- Maintain Engledow safety standards at all times
