About The Position

Winter Rec Attendants are responsible for maintaining recreation and snowplay sites, clearing snow and cleaning facilities, as well as operating fee stations and providing customer service.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must know how to operate basic machinery.
• Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Must have excellent guest service skills.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays and required.

Responsibilities

• Clears snow and ice from walkways using shovels, ice chippers and snowblowers.
• Cleans recreation areas by picking up trash and clearing debris from grills and fire pits.
• Cleans and resupplies restrooms and other recreation facilities as needed.
• Collects payments from guests using recreation sites; Ensures proper amounts are paid and proper change is given.
• Informs guests of operation hours and site rules; Responsible for maintaining knowledge to answer a variety of guest questions.
• Checks and Monitors heater operation and propane levels; issues will be reported to the Manager.
• Helps to set up snow fencing and other barricades to block off areas and ensure public safety.
• May be tasked to assist with traffic control within sites and guide guests through parking areas.
