We're seeking a Winter Food & Beverage Cashier to help process guest transactions and support lodge operations during the busy winter season. Why Bogus Basin? How You'll Make a Difference As a Winter Food & Beverage Cashier, you'll be the friendly face helping guests complete their food and beverage purchases quickly and accurately. Beyond processing transactions, you'll also assist with stocking, cleanliness, and guest service, ensuring smooth daily operations. A Day in the Life You'll spend your shift at a point-of-sale station in one of our bustling lodges, greeting guests and handling cash and credit card transactions. Between transactions, you'll help keep items stocked and assist the team with cleaning the food service areas. Guests may ask you for assistance or directions, and your positive, professional attitude will ensure they feel welcome. Every day brings new opportunities to help guests enjoy their mountain experience.

Requirements

• Passion for Bogus Basin's mission.
• Strong customer service skills with a positive, helpful attitude.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Manual dexterity to process cash/credit card transactions and operate POS systems.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, reach, and balance for long periods.
• Ability to work the full winter season (mid-October through mid-May).

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently process guest purchases using POS terminals.
• Handle both cash and credit card transactions with accuracy and care.
• Maintain stock levels of prepackaged food and sale items.
• Assist with cleaning and upkeep of Food & Beverage areas.
• Assist in training staff, fostering a positive, team-oriented environment.
• Promote safety by following safe practices and reporting unsafe conditions.
• Maintain a professional and welcoming attitude toward guests and staff.
• Provide assistance to guests, referring them to a supervisor/manager if needed.
• Attend required training sessions.
• Perform other related tasks as necessary.
