FBO Services Wing Walker- Independent Contractor
About The Position
Desert Jet is building a roster of experienced aviation professionals to provide wing walker services on an independent contractor basis at Yampa Valley Regional Airport (KHDN). This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity for individuals who want flexible, as-needed project work supporting aircraft movement operations. The Opportunity Selected contractors will be added to Desert Jet’s approved contractor list and contacted on an as-needed basis for opportunities to support aircraft towing and repositioning in and out of hangars and ramp areas. Requirements
- Prior aviation ramp or line service experience strongly preferred
- Strong safety mindset and professional communication skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain airport badging
Responsibilities
- Provide wing walking services during aircraft towing and repositioning.
- Maintain safe clearance and situational awareness at all times.
- Operate in accordance with airport regulations and safety standards.
