Winery Cook/Prep Do you love working with food, keeping a kitchen clean and organized, and interested in joining a team of hard working, committed individuals? We invite you to join our team and become our Winery Cook/Prep! Gillig Winery provides delectable dishes utilizing a non-traditional “Bistro Kitchen”. Position requirements include, but not limited to, prepping food, cooking dishes for winery guests, assisting in organizing menus for events, adhering to any and all Health Department Standards, organizing kitchen processes to maintain high quality, safety, efficiency, and profitability. Gillig Winery is hiring a Food Cook/Prep, preferably with kitchen knowledge or experience, but not required. Hours are part time, 20-30 hours per week (working hours vary and could include anytime as follows: occasional evenings on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays as needed for special events; Thursday-Saturday 10am-11pm). We are closed on Sundays. Qualifications: Self-motivated Responsible Reliable Excellent communicator Detail oriented Well-kept Enjoys cooking and plating food Food industry experience preferred Requirements: ServSafe certification recommended, but not required By law, must be 16 years of age or older Must be able to work both independently and as a team Must be able to stand for long periods of time Must maintain an exceptionally clean and organized kitchen environment Able to work clear-minded in a fast-paced environment while multitasking Shifts vary with mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends
