In this role, you'll enhance your data analytics abilities by engaging with a diverse project portfolio and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Viticulture, Chemistry, Enology, Micro and Systems Biology, and Winemaking. You will play a crucial part in understanding and documenting the inputs and outputs of data to support ongoing development. Your expertise will be instrumental in creating dashboards that empower our partners to make informed, data-driven decisions. Additionally, you will mine data to identify patterns for predictive insights, modeling both structured and unstructured data as you contribute to the development of machine learning and other advanced analytical models. This internship is designed to challenge and inspire you, providing a platform for innovation and creativity.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled at a college or university and working towards OR have obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Data Analytics, Informatics, Marketing Research, Applied/Quantitative Psychology or School of Engineering.
  • Experience defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions.
  • Experience working with data in Python or SQL.
  • Strong written, verbal, and analytical skills.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays when necessary.
  • Must be 18 years or older.

Nice To Haves

  • Junior or Senior class standing at a college or university and working towards a Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in relevant fields.
  • Previous experience in natural sciences, fermentation, viticulture, or winemaking.
  • Knowledge or experience working with BI Tools, like Tableau.
  • Excellent organizational and team skills and experience managing multiple assignments.
  • Previous experience working in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with scientists and technical experts on data analytics projects.
