About The Position

Moët Hennessy, the Wines and Spirits Division of LVMH, is seeking a Wine Sales Manager to lead the wine commercial strategy in the assigned market. This role is pivotal in providing account sales support and market brand education for Moët Hennessy Wine brands. The Wine Sales Manager will be responsible for understanding the wine brand strategy, including marques, SKUs, and programs, ensuring clear connectivity to the brand teams. This position requires effective communication and presentation of wine brands internally, at the distributor level, and within the trade. The Wine Sales Manager will participate in distributor business reviews and will be tasked with training and educating distributor teams on the Moët Hennessy USA (MHUSA) sales teams, local distribution sales networks, and trade partners. In addition to brand presentation and education, the Wine Sales Manager will implement wine commercial plans in partnership with the market lead and sales team. This includes collaborating with distributor teams to support the execution of commercial plans and developing local wine programming. The role also involves hosting consumer-facing events, wine dinners, and Master Classes to promote brand awareness in the assigned market. The Wine Sales Manager will work closely with the market lead to establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and sales priorities, ensuring direct interaction and coordination with local MH Market Teams. This includes managing a dedicated Target Account List (TAL) to ensure a wine opportunistic viewpoint for placements, depletions, and velocity growth. The position is accountable for achieving placements, display goals, wine listings, and overall volume growth in the TAL, while also providing input to the Commercial Enablement team on forecasting and operations related to wine sales and inventory.
