About The Position
The Wine Store Sales Associate assists guests with all steps of their shopping experience including: guiding them to products, securing products out of reach, loading heavy items and making suggestions. Reports to the Beverage Managers.Provides prompt, efficient and friendly guest serviceEducates guests about Italian Wines, beer and beverages sold at EatalyReceives and stocks wine and wine store merchandise, may review invoicesRotates, faces and replenishes merchandiseExecutes La Scuola Sip & Savor wine classes under the direction of the Beverage DirectorSets up for each class including rolling silverware, setting places and gathering materialsChecks in guests and introduces classesOpens wine and pours for guestsDescribes flavor profile, pairing detail and winery informationBreaks down after each classPerforms other duties as required or assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally; exert up to 20 pounds of force frequently; exert up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
- Ability to exert well-paced mobility for periods up to 4 hours
- Flexible availability, including weekends, preferred

Responsibilities
- Assists guests with all steps of their shopping experience

- Educates guests about Italian Wines, beer and beverages sold at Eataly
- Receives and stocks wine and wine store merchandise, may review invoices
- Rotates, faces and replenishes merchandise
- Executes La Scuola Sip & Savor wine classes under the direction of the Beverage Director
- Sets up for each class including rolling silverware, setting places and gathering materials
- Checks in guests and introduces classes
- Opens wine and pours for guests
- Describes flavor profile, pairing detail and winery information
- Breaks down after each class
- Performs other duties as required or assigned
