About The Position

Ensuring that product is checked in properly, shelves are stocked; exciting displays are built, and is available for customer’s questions on the floor.

Requirements

• A passion for the wine and spirits industry and a genuine interest in the products sold.
• Energy and enthusiasm to work, willingness to work in any area of the store that may need assistance, pride in your grooming standards, and a drive to give customers the best shopping experience to keep them coming back.
• Entry level, must be 18+ years
• Wine, Spirits, and Beer 101
• Merchandising 101
• Safe Lifting
• TiPs Certified
• Customer Service Training

Responsibilities

• Stocking shelves
• building exciting displays
• safely operates equipment such as hand trucks, uboats, conveyor, forklifts (where necessary)
• Assist in inventory and store moves
• signing off on PO’s as deliveries arrive, ensuring accuracy
• product placement in stores
• helping to keep the store clean
• knows the store’s exclusive and focus items
• capability to ring on register and cover other areas of the store
• Ability to assist customers with the location of products in the store and basic wine pairings.
• Assist with other store operations tasks- ie cleaning break area, restrooms, collecting carts, stocking bags and materials at register
• Greet customers with a friendly smile and positive attitude, ensuring that each customer feels welcome and appreciated.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure the smooth operation of the store, offering assistance and support where needed.
• Ensure that you are following all safety procedures.
• Create a memorable shopping experience for our customers
• Be a positive ambassador for the store, representing our S.T.E.W. values in all interactions with customers and team members. You are the biggest WOW!
