We are looking for a System administrator skilled and proactive Windows Servers & Basic Linux Administrator with strong experience in Windows Server infrastructure, Active Directory management, and VMware virtualization. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining enterprise server environments, supporting business-critical applications, ensuring infrastructure availability, and assisting in IT projects and compliance activities. Also required to Manage server restarts in datacentre.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in Windows Server Administration.
  • Hands-on experience in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
  • Experience in VMware ESXi and vSphere administration.
  • Knowledge of SCCM patch management and deployment.
  • Experience in backup and recovery solutions.
  • Understanding of IT security policies and compliance standards.
  • Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux commands and shell environment.
  • Experience in Linux user administration and permission management.
  • Knowledge of package management tools (YUM, DNF, APT, RPM).
  • Experience in storage management and LVM configuration.
  • Understanding of networking concepts and Linux network configuration.
  • Knowledge of log analysis and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Basic scripting knowledge (Shell scripting).
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years' experience in the IT industry.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
  • Good documentation and reporting skills.
  • Team-oriented and problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server Operating Systems (2008, 2012, 2016, 2019).
  • Administer and manage Active Directory services including user provisioning, group policy management, and access control.
  • Configure and maintain infrastructure services such as DNS, DHCP, File Servers, Application Servers, and Print Servers.
  • Perform server backup, restoration, and disaster recovery operations.
  • Manage SCCM patch deployment, software distribution, and package creation.
  • Install, configure, and maintain VMware environments including ESXi and vSphere.
  • Create and manage Virtual Machines, templates, snapshots, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor virtual and physical servers for performance, capacity, and availability.
  • Perform P2V and V2V migrations using VMware tools.
  • Maintain server and application licensing and coordinate with vendors for renewals.
  • Configure and troubleshoot network printers and end-user system issues.
  • Prepare and maintain ISMS documentation for internal and external audit requirements.
  • Provide technical support to corporate users and ensure timely issue resolution.
  • Participate in IT infrastructure projects, upgrades, and system implementations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to maintain service levels.
  • Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers within the data center.
  • Manage data centre hardware, including servers, storage systems, and networking equipment.
  • Perform rack installation, cabling, labelling, and hardware asset management.
  • Basic Linux Administration experience is Must
