We currently have an exciting career opportunity in our Information Technology team for a Windows OS Specialist. CohnReznick is a hybrid firm and most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered remote which means it does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a CohnReznick office location. However, as a remote employee, you may be required to be present at a CohnReznick office with scheduled notice for client work, team meetings, or trainings.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain standardized OS images for laptops, desktops, and Azure VDI environments.
  • Leverage Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, and related technologies to manage device enrollment, configuration, and updates.
  • Perform routine checks on deployment processes, ensuring efficient rollouts and minimal downtime.
  • Diagnose and resolve OS-related issues, collaborating with other IT teams (e.g., network, security) when necessary.
  • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks using scripting (PowerShell) or built-in Microsoft tools.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to OS deployment workflows and lifecycle management processes.
  • Work with the Cybersecurity Team to implement security best practices and policies, including patch management and vulnerability remediation.
  • Ensure that all Windows deployments align with relevant regulatory and compliance requirements (e.g., SOX, GDPR).
  • Maintain detailed documentation of configuration standards, deployment procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Provide training and support materials to end users and less-technical staff as needed.
  • Work closely with infrastructure, security, and application support teams to ensure smooth integration of updates and new deployments.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to share insights, discuss challenges, and coordinate efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; or 1 year equivalent experience may be substituted for each year earned towards a Bachelor's degree.
  • Microsoft certifications (e.g., MD-100, MD-101, or related Azure/Intune credentials) are a plus.
  • 2-4 years of experience managing Windows operating systems in a mid-to-large scale environment.
  • Exposure to Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, or other MDM/MAM solutions is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Azure services (e.g., Azure Virtual Desktop, Azure Active Directory) is highly desirable.
  • Working knowledge of OS imaging processes, Group Policy, and patch management.
  • Basic PowerShell scripting skills to automate tasks or troubleshoot issues.
  • Understanding of networking concepts, security practices, and Microsoft 365 cloud services.
