About The Position

The position involves working closely with customers on data center maintenance activities, specifically focusing on Windows Systems and workloads. The role requires the development of Functional Specifications and the independent management of all aspects related to Workload Integration projects. The individual will serve as a liaison between the customer, Account Team, and the Datacenter Tower, effectively communicating complex concepts and processes. Additionally, the role includes collaborating with vendors and contractors to define detailed technical requirements, participating in interviews with Application owners and Business Users to identify system functions and dependencies, and executing Discovery activities to document the existing Windows server inventory. The successful candidate will work with the Datacenter Server Tower to develop and implement solutions for successful transformation, consult on complex business issues, and ensure the identification and documentation of system requirements to enable reliable service delivery. The role also involves participating in the development and execution of user acceptance test plans and creating new documentation and processes to optimize network functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in an Information Technology Discipline.
  • 6 or more years of professional experience.
  • 5+ years of Windows Administration.
  • In-depth understanding of distributed networks.
  • Significant experience in the administration of SSL certs, Windows Management WMI, Window Manager, Improved Windows Server Management, Cloud IaaS Support in AWS and Azure, Active Directory, Group Policy / GPO, Group Policy Objects, User & Group Creation, LDAP, DNS, DHCP, IIS, Exchange Server Management, PowerShell Scripting, Recipient Management, Distribution List Management, and Manage Systems Backup / Restoration Tasks.
  • Understanding of Web Services / SOA Security Protocols / Management.
  • Programming / Scripting experience in PowerShell, Custom Module Development, Python, UNIX Scripting (Shell / Bash / Korn), VBScripting, SQL Coding / Scripting, C# / VB.NET / ASP.NET Development, and Visual Basic Development.
