About The Position

Budget Blinds of Savannah is a locally owned and operated franchise that specializes in providing custom window treatments, including shades, shutters, blinds, drapes, and home automation solutions to clients in Savannah, GA, and surrounding coastal communities. We are currently seeking to hire and train a new member for our Installation Team. The primary responsibility of this role is to professionally and accurately install custom products in our clients' homes and businesses. The installer will work closely with our Sales and Office teams to ensure a seamless experience for our clients, adhering to safety regulations and proper measuring and installation practices throughout the installation process. This position offers flexibility, as it can be part-time or full-time, with compensation ranging from $20 to $35 per hour, depending on experience and performance. Full-time personnel will typically work Monday to Friday from 8 or 8:30 am to 5 pm, although there may be rare occasions when installations begin or end outside of these hours, with appropriate compensation provided. Full-time employees are eligible for health insurance benefits, a 401(k) plan, and accrued paid vacation time after a waiting period. Our team observes paid national holidays, and unpaid leave can be requested at management's discretion. The ideal candidate will have experience in general labor, construction, maintenance, carpentry, or installation. This role requires a professional demeanor, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to provide a “white glove” service for our clientele. Installers will be expected to maintain a clean and professional appearance, as branded shirts will be provided, and they must wear clean clothing while in clients' homes. The position also involves ensuring that installations are completed accurately, with a callback rate of less than 5% for all assigned installations. Installers must arrive on time, maintain the company van and tools, and ensure that the client's home is left in the same or better condition than it was upon arrival. At the end of each installation, the installer will ensure that the client is comfortable with the product, aware of any issues, and has signed off on the paperwork acknowledging the installation.
