PURPOSE Manages sales, supply chain and sales support activities related to an assigned product or product line, including inventory, purchasing, delivering, and service in order to maximize revenues and profitability, especially in relation to competitor products. Conducts comparative analysis against competitors and provides strategic planning of product direction and features.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required.
  • Relevant experience in window installation, construction, or a similar technical role.
  • Prior experience with window and door repair is often essential.
  • Proficiency with a wide range of hand and power tools relevant to window installation and repair.
  • Strong ability to diagnose complex mechanical and structural issues and develop effective solutions under pressure.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • The capacity to lift heavy and awkward materials, climb ladders, and perform manual tasks in varying weather conditions.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure precise measurements and high-quality repairs.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct service evaluations to identify and diagnose issues with window and door products under warranty, as well as for general repair.
  • Repair or replace broken glass, seals, sashes, frames, and hardware to ensure proper function.
  • Install new or replacement window and door units.
  • Take precise measurements for custom orders and new installations to ensure a perfect fit.
  • Interact directly with customers, explaining repair issues and maintenance recommendations to ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain and organize company vehicles and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Adhere to all company and safety protocols, including those from OSHA, when performing duties.
  • Fill out necessary paperwork, track materials used and record all service actions in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a stocked vehicle with common parts and products and coordinate with the service team to order specialized replacement parts.
