About The Position

Great news! Schillings is currently looking for a Retail Salesperson with an emphasis in Windows & Doors at our Saint John, IN location. This position is full-time with opportunities for advancement and offers excellent benefits. A typical schedule would be Monday through Saturday with a day off during the week. No Sundays or late evenings!

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Proficient scoring on all candidate testing
Knowledge of all aspects and uses of construction materials
Persuasive and people-orientated
Attention to detail
Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook
Sales experience preferred

Responsibilities

Build relationships with walk-in customers to enhance sales opportunities
Communicate with Purchasing on any needs for special products
Responsible for accurately estimating building products
Investigate and answer complex questions and inquiries within the framework of the sales function
Regularly work to develop relationships over time that will provide significant input to planning strategies
Occasionally serve as a team member on special projects
Collect, analyze, and report sales data and information (quotes, estimates, bids)
Be innovative and provide suggestions for improvement across the company
Plan how to establish and maintain major account relationships and meet personal sales targets within the full line of products or combination of products
Provided training, guidance, and assistance in Windows & Doors
Build sales and meet sales goals
