About The Position

Window Dispatcher Transdev in San Jose , CA is hiring a Dispatcher. The Dispatcher oversees road service through communication with Operators and provides customer support to the clients. We are seeking customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety. Transdev is proud to offer: CBA Position: Position Subject to Collective Bargaining Agreement: (Union Collective Bargaining Agreement Payscale) Starting pay: $28.67/hour with progression to $30.04 at 5 years. Benefits include: Vacation: 1 week ( 40 hours) paid vacation after 1 full year of service 2 weeks (80 hours) paid vacation after 2 full years of service 3 weeks (120 hours) paid vacation after 5 full years of service 4 weeks (160 hours) paid vacation after 20 full years of service Paid Sick Leave: 5 days accrued per year of employment Medical, dental, and vision benefits available following 60 days of employment, life insurance, 401k, and 10 paid company holidays. All Benefits are subject to Union Collective Bargaining Agreement Key Responsibilities: Oversee road service assigned carriers by tracking trip performance measures, route begin on time, performance, incidents, etc. Provide customer support by responding to questions and concerns regarding customer trips including no shows, cancellations and missed trips. Manage emergency situations for vehicle operators; act as liaison between the carrier and emergency services. Manage daily service by reviewing route performance and proactively responding to situations that impact customer service. Other duties as required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED; Technical Degree preferred.
• 3-5 years' experience dispatching.
• Excellent verbal, interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Problem solving and analytical skills.
• Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
• Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable.
• DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.
• Be eligible to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future (if based in the U.S.).
• Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen.
