We're seeking a skilled and forward-thinking Winding & Assembly Design Engineer to join our team at Siemens Energy. In this role, you'll be responsible for designing winding and winding assembly components for power transformers, including preparing detailed drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs). You'll play a key part in driving innovation and optimizing product performance, all while ensuring alignment with Siemens Energy's design standards, quality benchmarks, cost targets, and project timelines. This role starts with a unique opportunity to be part of the launch phase of our brand-new manufacturing facility in Charlotte, NC. The facility is planned to be built by early 2026 for production commencement. Consequently, the first part of the journey in this role in our Company will involve overseeing the construction of the factory and the implementation of new processes, as well as managing the development of a high-performance team and coordinating all aspects of the factory setup to prepare for production.
