The position of Winding Lead involves overseeing all scopes of the basic production process, ensuring quality and safety standards are met, and maintaining a clean work area.

Requirements

• Typically possesses a high school diploma (or equivalent).
• 5 or more years of relevant experience.
• Ability to read, understand and maintain records as required.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Thorough understanding of the production process.
• Ability to work well with a team.
• Willing and able to teach, coach, and develop others.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing all scopes of basic production process.
• Detecting and reporting defective materials or questionable conditions to the supervisor.
• Maintaining the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and following prescribed safety regulations.
• Contacting supervisor in the event of any complex problems with the production process.
• Ensuring the team understands and follows production policies, practices, and procedures.
• Responsible for the quality of work performed and identifying/documenting quality problems.
• Ensuring prevention of non-conforming products.
• Assisting supervisor in overseeing colleague performance and scheduling.
• Training colleagues on the line.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
