About The Position

JOB SUMMARY Performs tasks related to the winding of NOV pipe while maintaining all Quality and Safety measures. PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Operates any equipment needed to perform job Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition Completes tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision Utilize safe work habits Wear appropriate PPE Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines and procedures Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines and procedures Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines and procedures Other duties as assigned EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS High School diploma or equivalent Three years of verifiable work history JOB REQUIREMENTS Successfully pass Precision Instrument Measuring Test (Micrometer, Hook Rule, Pi Tape, Vernier Calipers) Ability to work overtime and shift work as required Standing up to 12 hours daily Walking up to 12 hours daily Bending/Stooping up to 12 hours daily Repetitive Movement (shoveling/sweeping/fastening) up to 12 hours daily Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. regularly Push/Pull up to 12 hours daily BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES Dependability/Attendance Problem Solving/Judgement Thoroughness TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES Ability to adapt and be cross-trained to learn all job duties as required Ability to learn technical repair and assembly guidelines and procedures Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to read drawings, instructions or repair and assembly operations FACILITY/GROUP SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES See “Primary Duties & Responsibilities” above

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Three years of verifiable work history
  • Successfully pass Precision Instrument Measuring Test (Micrometer, Hook Rule, Pi Tape, Vernier Calipers)
  • Ability to work overtime and shift work as required
  • Standing up to 12 hours daily
  • Walking up to 12 hours daily
  • Bending/Stooping up to 12 hours daily
  • Repetitive Movement (shoveling/sweeping/fastening) up to 12 hours daily
