About The Position

The Windchill Technical Lead position requires over 10 years of hands-on experience in the IT industry, specifically in leading a team of developers with expertise in Windchill Data Model, Windchill customization, Java development, and SQL. The role focuses on the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) domain, emphasizing customer interaction, understanding business processes, requirements analysis, and the administration and verification/validation of proposed solution approaches. The candidate should be familiar with Business and System Administration, GUI, lifecycle, and Workflow customization, with a preference for knowledge in the Medical devices domain. The position also requires a good understanding of the Windchill database and its table architecture, hands-on experience with ETL processes, and the ability to develop utilities to assist with migration activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
• Over 10 years of hands-on experience in IT.
• Expertise in Windchill Data Model and customization.
• Strong experience in Java development and SQL.
• Knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) domain.
• Experience in Medical devices domain preferred.
• Good understanding of Windchill database and table architecture.
• Hands-on experience with ETL processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to establish effective working relationships in a team environment.
• Excellent writing, verbal presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to manage conflicts within the team.

Nice To Haves

• Relevant certifications in PLM or Windchill.
• Experience with ThingWorx.
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of developers with expertise in Windchill Data Model and customization.
• Focus on customer interaction and understanding business processes.
• Conduct requirements analysis and administration of proposed solution approaches.
• Manage Business and System Administration, GUI, lifecycle, and Workflow customization.
• Provide knowledge of Release process, BOM management, Change Management, and CAD Integration.
• Understand Windchill database architecture.
• Perform ETL processes and Customization.
• Develop utilities for Migration activities.
• Install and configure PTC software, Windchill Data Model, and Java development.
• Design solutions for Windchill Implementation projects.
• Lead technical implementation teams in analyzing business requirements.
• Contribute to the design of PTC Solutions for complex customer business processes.
• Provide input into future software functionality and customization standards.
• Understand database administration and design.
• Possess strong debugging and analytical skills.
• Work with Java enterprise platform and related technologies.
• Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, JIRA, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
• Prior experience migrating from non-Windchill to Windchill systems.
