Maintain cleanliness and safety of the plant area, tools, and equipment.
Respond to emergency situations to minimize hazards and equipment downtime.
Perform maintenance tasks including disassembly, repair, and assembly of equipment.
Assist with preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems.
Operate heavy equipment upon certification, such as forklifts and cranes.
Engage in training to improve personal skills related to the job.

High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
1+ years of power plant maintenance experience desired.
Familiarity with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
Basic knowledge of heavy equipment operation and computer skills in word processing and spreadsheets.
Valid Texas Driver's License with a clean driving record.
Ability to pass a background check and drug test.

Basic knowledge of plant safety rules and equipment malfunction causes.
Exposure to plant design and turbine configurations.
