About The Position

As a Wind Millwright at the Cheyenne Ridge II Wind Project, you will be responsible for dismantling, erecting, assembling, aligning, adjusting, and/or maintaining machinery and equipment according to installation manuals, work instructions, layout plans, blueprints, and other drawings. This role is crucial in ensuring the proper functioning of wind energy equipment and contributes to the overall success of the project.

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety regulations, assembly/disassembly, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Strong teamwork orientation
• Positive attitude and professional customer service skills
• Detail oriented
• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 year of related experience preferred
• Must possess valid driver's license of proper class and necessary endorsements as required by law

Responsibilities

• Receiving and offloading all major components
• Installing loose components for Nacelle, hub, and tower preparation
• Connecting blades to hub
• Setting base and tower sections
• Managing taglines
• Involved with main erection crane assembly and teardown
• Climbing ladders - average 80m
• Drilling and/or tapping of all holes on turbines, generators, compressors, and pumps
• Torqueing/tensioning any bolted connection
