This position is for the Lazbuddie Wind Project located in Muleshoe, TX. The primary objective of the Wind Heavy Equipment Operator is to operate equipment as directed and specified, strictly adhering to all Mortenson safety policies and procedures. The role expects a high quality, professional work product performed with initiative, productivity, a positive attitude and behavior, meeting or exceeding established standards, goals, and accountabilities.

Must possess valid driver’s license of proper class and necessary endorsements as required by law

Responsibilities

Operates the following equipment based on the requirements of the project: Blade, Dozer, Loader, Scraper, Forklift/Telehandler, Crane, Bobcat/Skid-steer, Boom Lifts/Aerial Lifts, Roller
Follows prescribed safety regulations
Ensure that all housekeeping is maintained in a clear and orderly fashion in assigned area
Performs routine maintenance to include lubricating, fueling and cleaning
Observes equipment operation to detect machine malfunction
Follows work plans and pre-task cards
Other duties and responsibilities
