About The Position

The position involves coordinating the activities of Field Service Technicians and acting as a liaison between the Technicians, customers, and the WindGen Business Unit. The role requires maintaining continuous communication with technicians to resolve any issues that may arise during their assignments. Additionally, the position supports the global field services team in coordinating activities and managing the scheduling of Service Technician assignments. It is essential to ensure that jobs are staffed appropriately and that technicians understand the length of their assignments and their responsibilities. Accurate documentation and record-keeping of performed activities are also critical components of this role.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the activities of Field Service Technicians.
  • Act as the liaison between Technicians, customers, and WindGen Business Unit.
  • Maintain continuous communication with technicians to resolve any issues.
  • Support the global field services team activities coordination.
  • Plan, direct, and manage the scheduling of Service Technician activities from assignment to assignment.
  • Ensure that jobs are staffed appropriately and that technicians understand the length of assignment and responsibility of the job.
  • Complete and maintain required and accurate documentation and records associated with the performed activities.
  • Ensure Technicians have the needed tools and supplies to perform jobs.
  • Coordinate and ensure that technicians receive the proper training and equipment needed for assignments.
  • Manage inventory of supplies, including handling of tools, equipment, and PPE.
  • Maintain constant communication with customers to ensure jobs completed by Technicians meet customer needs.
  • Address and resolve any issues or concerns with employees and customers or assist Global Field Service Manager in resolving issues.
  • Visit technicians to ensure customer and WindGen Business Unit needs are being met and that safety procedures are adhered to.
  • Perform audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations in collaboration with the H&S department.
  • Approve Technicians’ daily timesheets and ensure they are completed appropriately.
  • Promote a culture of continuous H&S improvement and share good practices across the company.
  • Ensure tasks are performed according to organizational requirements for quality management and environmental, health, and safety standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.
