About The Position
The Winchester Engineering Co-op/Intern position for 2025 is a temporary role located in Independence, Missouri, with additional locations in East Alton, Illinois. This internship offers students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in engineering, specifically in the production of small caliber ammunition. Interns will work under the guidance of senior engineers and collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Quality, and Ballistics Operations teams. The role involves identifying and implementing process improvements, collecting and processing data to support engineering projects, and assisting in achieving Manufacturing Excellence goals through continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing initiatives.
