The Connecticut Humane Society is opening a brand-new building in Wilton, Connecticut this summer. We are currently looking for two Reception positions to support our combined Shelter and Public Clinic medical departments. Receptionists will work directly with our clinic and shelter clients: checking in/out medical and/or pet surrender clients, scheduling appointments for clinic and shelter services, calling other clinics or rescues for records, and providing basic education on medication, after-care, pet surrender, and/or post-adoption expectations. Receptionists will answer phone calls, process data entry into our two software systems, engage in e-communications (emails, texts, etc.), interact with clients and their pets face-to-face, and process monetary transactions. This position is the first person our clients and pets will see when they walk into our facility.
