Willow West NDE Level 1
About The Position
The purpose of this position is to provide individuals with on-the-job training and hands-on experience in NDE inspection processes. NDE Level I technicians work under the direct guidance of a Level II Technician and report to the Inspection Film Interpreter/Foreman. This position will be responsible for driving Kakivik's Mission, Vision, and Values, a crucial part of the strategic plan to drive success. Kakivik Asset Management leads the industry in Safety, Innovation, and Excellence. Kakivik's mission is to provide quality-driven, cost-effective inspection and asset management services to support resource development companies.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years old.
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- A valid driver’s license with no restrictions is required.
- Pass a Background Check and Drug Screen.
- North Slope Training Cooperative Card (NSTC) is required.
- Skilled in communication.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to operate various light equipment.
- Skilled in High school algebra.
Nice To Haves
- IRRSP or State Card is preferred.

- Maintain 100% “Safety Standards and Accountability” in all areas or mandatory/regulatory requirements, which include: Maintain compliance with required HSE Training. Taking necessary action when behaviors or conditions around you may be unsafe. Reporting and addressing all potential safety concerns/incidents/issues promptly and willingly participate and assist in any investigation that may relate to a safety incident. Performs work in strict compliance with permitting requirements, Alaska Safety Handbook (ASH) Standards and other compliance-oriented directives.. Participating in safety meetings, working safely, and maintaining a safe work environment as an employee and representative of Kakivik Document and record any injury or near miss incident that may occur while you are working. Demonstrate and promote safe work practices by participating in JSA reviews, pre-job walkdowns and safety START card preparations covering work activities and materials required by the company and the client. Promote and participate in Safety Programs.
