About The Position

In the GAS Division, Block Machining will perform responsibilities including but not limited to milling, boring, and aligning the honing machine.The Associate will use tools such as a honing bar and a calibration rod. They will use precision measuring equipment to accurately machine parts in conjunction withthe specs and accuracy required for specific jobs. This position requires an individual with strong hand dexterity and math skills.

Requirements

• The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50lbs.
• The ability to stand or walk an entire shift (can be approx... 8-10 hours)
• The ability to use handheld tools such as hammers, drills, impacts, gauges.
• Standing: Continuously
• Walking: Occasionally/ Frequently
• Sitting: Never
• Stooping (forward leaning): Occasionally/ Frequently
• Reaching/Working Overhead: Occasionally
